inspired by HERITAGE

ELEVATED by design

OUR PHILOSOPHY

MX2 is a Native American–owned, design-forward landscape architecture studio based in Arizona. We approach every project as both a system and a story—where land functions as infrastructure, experience, and cultural record. Grounded in the enduring principles of our profession, we believe good work doesn’t need reinvention—only intention. Principal-led and intentionally small, we remain directly involved from first conversation through implementation, bringing clarity, accountability, and experience to every decision. The result is projects that perform, endure, and resonate long after they are built.

“Independence is the point. Not growth for growth’s sake. Not layers of handoff. MX2 exists to practice landscape architecture with care, intention, and independence — honoring where we come from, and choosing how we move forward.”

“Listening isn’t just a relationship skill, it’s a design skill. Community knowledge is expertise, and clarity is respect. Relationships are the real deliverable. Honesty and transparency build trust, and when trust is strong, the work follows.”
